Updated: Feb 28, 2022

It's another Mock Draft. Version 6.9. God is good.

1. Jags - Evan Neal, OT, Alabama

Protecting Trevor Lawrence has to be the top priority.

2. Lions - Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan

High floor for the big productive defensive end who went to school 42 miles down the road from Ford Field.

3. Texans - Ikem Ekwonu, OT/G, NC State

Davis Webb breathes a sigh of relief as the Lovie Smith era begins with the selection of a big, athletic, and versatile offensive lineman.

4. NY Jets - Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE, Oregon

Many scouts' number one prospect falls to four and the Jets take him, having needs all over the field.

5. Commanders - Matt Corral* (TRADED FROM NYG FOR WSH 2022 1st, WSH 2023 1st)

QB, Ole Miss

The Giants fearlessly trade their pick intra-division to allow Washington to get "their guy", Matt Corral. The Panthers are stunned.

6. Panthers - Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh

The stunned Panthers take the number two guy on their board, who they now proclaim was their number one guy all along.

7. NY Giants - Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa

Giants go with a highly rated center with their first selection of the draft.

8. Falcons - Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State

Falcons take a wideout to either replace or complement Calvin Ridley

9. Broncos - George Karlaftis, DE, Purdue

Denver replace future HOF Von Miller with a strong defensive end to bookend with Bradley Chubb.

10. NY Jets - Derek Stingley, CB, LSU

The Jet use both of their top-10 picks on defense and take the top ranked cornerback.

11. NY Giants - Charles Cross* (TRADED FROM WSH FOR NYG 2022 1st), OT, Miss State

The Giants use the pick they got from Washington on another offensive lineman to the delight of their fans everywhere.

12. Vikings - Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame

Harrison Smith can't last forever. Vikings know where to look for a future all pro safety. Notre Dame.

13. Browns - Drake London, WR, USC

Cleveland goes wide receiver because Cleveland. London has the size at 6'5" and averaged 11 catches a game last season at USC.

14. Ravens - Sauce Gardner, CB, Cincinnati

Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner did not surrender more than 13 yards in a game to single receiver last season at Cincinnati. Baltimore doesn't miss a chance to improve their defense.

15. Eagles - Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia

Philly has three picks between 15 and 20. They use the first of which on a tackling machine middle linebacker from the nation's top defense a season ago.

16. Eagles - Travon Walker, DE, Georgia

Howie Roseman has the hots for Georgia's defense and takes a talented edge rusher.

17. Chargers - Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama

With Mike Williams a free agent, Jameson Williams can make an immediate impact on this offense.

18. Saints - Carson Strong, QB, Nevada

Will the Saints go with Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian next season? Sources say no.

19. Eagles - Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State

Eagles use the last of their trio of first rounders on a shifty wideout that could have been a first rounder last year had he not returned to school.

20. Steelers - Malik Willis, QB, Liberty

After facing Lamar Jackson twice a year for the last few seasons, Pittsburgh has to like the idea of fighting fire with fire and igniting the Malik Willis era.

21. Patriots - David Ojabo, DE, Michigan

Patriots take an edge rusher from Michigan.

22. Raiders - Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas

Productive, big wide receiver for an offense that desperately needs one.

23. Cardinals - Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington

A lockdown corner from Washington to share the secondary with fellow UW alum Budda Baker.

24. Cowboys - Kenyon Green, OT/G, Texas A&M

Versatile offensive lineman to bring youth to an aging crew.

25. Bills - Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

Highly rated linebacker to improve the weakest link of their defense.

26. Titans - Jermaine Johnson II, DE, Florida State

High motor edge rusher who transferred from Georgia to Florida State last season. Georgia won a national title. FSU went 5-7. Whoops.

27. Bucs - Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

Bucs had injuries on top of depth to begin with at corner last season and keeping Elam in state would be a victory.

28. Packers - Trevor Penning, OT, Northern Iowa

Do you think a 6'7" 340 lb white guy from Iowa will mind being drafted by the Green Bay Packers?

29. Dolphins - Breece Hall, RB, Iowa State

Watch out for this running back who quietly put up huge numbers last season for Iowa State.

30. Chiefs - Jordan Davis, NT, Georgia

Andre The Giant's stunt double, Davis is a behemoth who will plug the middle and learn from one of the best in Chris Jones.

31. Bengals - Zion Johnson, G, BC

Bengals take a guard in hopes of helping Joe Burrow avoid being sacked 9 times a game next season.

32. Lions - Daxton Hill, CB/S, Michigan

5-star athlete who can play both safety and corner. Detroit unites Hutchinson and Hill from college to the pros.

Mic Drop.
