Mock Draft 10.0 - The Real Deal

Updated: Jun 2, 2022

As the great Dr. Seuss once put it - if we do not choose, we end up with none. With less than a week until the actual NFL Draft, let's post one last mock for the boys. And what would a true mock be without a trade or two? Or, wait... three? Wow, this really is a realistic mock draft after all. I can trust this one to be more informative than anything Mel Kiper has produced since 1986. Todd, Todd, Todd, Todd. Here we go:

THE TRADES:

Ahead of the Mock, in lieu of editors, the CSB promise is to inform you of any trades at the top of the mock. Here they are in round one:

TRADE #1:

Pittsburgh receives:

NYG #5

New York Giants receive:

PIT #20

PIT #138

PIT 2023 1st Round

TRADE #2:

New Orleans receives:

NYJ #10

NYJ #38

New York Jets receive:

NO #16

NO #19

TRADE #3:

New England receives:

HOU #13

Houston receives:

NE #21

NE #85

And now... A Mockumentary.

  6. Carolina Panthers - DE - Kayvon Thibodeaux - Oregon

  7. New York Giants - CB - Ahmad Gardner - Cincinnati

  8. Atlanta Falcons - QB - Matt Corral - Ole Miss

  9. Seattle Seahawks - DE - Jermaine Johnson - Florida State

  10. New Orleans Saints - QB - Kenny Pickett - Pittsburgh

  13. New England Patriots - DT - Jordan Davis - Georgia

  14. Baltimore Ravens - C - Tyler Linderbaum - Iowa

  15. Philadelphia Eagles - S - Kyle Hamilton - Notre Dame

  16. New York Jets - WR - Jameson Williams - Alabama

  17. Los Angeles Chargers - OT - Charles Cross - Ole Miss

  18. Philadelphia Eagles - WR - Drake London - USC

  19. New York Jets - CB - Trent McDuffie - Washington

  20. New York Giants - OT - Kenyon Green - Texas A&M

  21. Houston Texans - LB - Devin Lloyd - Utah

  22. Green Bay Packers - OT - Trevor Penning - Northern Iowa

  23. Arizona Cardinals - WR - Garrett Wilson - Ohio State

  24. Dallas Cowboys - LB - Nakobe Dean - Georgia

  25. Buffalo Bills - RB - Breece Hall - Iowa State

  26. Tennessee Titans - CB - Andrew Booth - Clemson

  27. Tampa Bay Buccanneers - CB - Kaiir Elam - Florida

  28. Green Bay Packers - DT - Devonta Wyatt - Georgia

  30. Kansas City Chiefs - DE - David Ojabo - Michigan

  31. Cincinnati Bengals - OG - Zion Johnson - Boston College

  32. Detroit Lions - QB - Desmond Ridder - Cincinatti

Desmond Ridder sneaks his way up the charts into the first round's version of mr. irrelevant. Packers take OL an DL as they always do and the Jets, Giants, and Texans acquire more picks while still getting premium guys at positions of need (all). Steelers get malik aka lex luthor to fight lamar aka superman and there is plenty to be excited late from Arizona, Dallas, Buffalo, and Cincinnati.

Notably omitted: Chris Olave, Treylon Burks, Daxton Hill, Lewis Cine.
